An update to the firewall software version in last night's maintenance window changed the functionality of some IPsec tunnels. Because of this, tunnels configured in a certain manner were not working correctly after the update. Troubleshooting started early in the morning. This change in functionality was not documented by the device manufacturer, which caused the procedure to take longer. After pinpointing the difference between the functioning and non-functioning tunnels, the actual repair was simple to implement.
A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.
