The controller replacement was successful and redundancy has been restored.
Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.
This maintenance is a new attempt to implement a permanent fix to the issue that caused https://status.glesys.com/incidents/2k6lt9y6gnmp
The root cause analysis performed by the storage vendor concluded that the faulty storage controller needs to be replaced to ensure the underlying hardware issue does not occur again.
In order to perform the replacement, we will need to perform a failover of the storage cluster, which can take up to 30 seconds. There will be no data loss, and VMs will remain accessible during the maintenance window, but you may see some disk errors in your system logs while the failover takes place.
We do not anticipate any service impact, but we will be without redundancy within our storage infrastructure at times during the maintenance window.
